Darker skin tones are deemed high risk due to being more prone to scarring, hyperpigmentation and permanent damage that can be caused to the melanin of the skin i.e. permanent loss of skin colour in the area.
A compulsory patch test is required at least 48 hours prior to the treatment taking place. If you are breastfeeding it is advised to wait at least 6 months after you are no longer breastfeeding.
Microneedling/ Dry tattooing is the use of an electric device which creates multiple micro channels in the skin to cause your skin to go into repair mode and boost collagen and blood circulation to the area resulting in the skin becoming smoother.
This varies person to person and is dependent on the skin concerns you are aiming to improve. Consistency of treatments and aftercare is vital in achieving a good result.
Every 6 weeks until you have achieved your desired result.
