A compulsory patch test is required  at least 48 hours prior to the treatment taking place.  If you are breastfeeding it is advised to wait at least 6 months after you are no longer breastfeeding.

Unless you have any medical conditions as listed above, my doors are open to all genders and people.  Male, Female, Trans, Non-Binary.  My treatments are carried out on a 1:1 basis in a private treatment room.  Nobody else knows which treatment you have come in for!

This varies person to person however I advise you budget for at least 8 sessions if opting for Pay as you Go.  Packages of 6 purchased upfront receive 2 additional sessions at no extra cost. Conditions such as Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome or those that have generally quite thick/ coarse hair will be expected to require more sessions than average or should consider Electrolysis especially for smaller areas i.e. face/ neck.

The purpose of laser treatments is reduction leading to permanence for a period of time.  At any point our hormones could change and kick start hair growth however, people that undergo this treatment notice significant reduction in hair growth and may require a few maintenance sessions a year or so later once they've achieved their desired result.

Laser reduces hair growth and in some cases clients rarely (if at all need to come back for tops ups a year + later).  Electrolysis is permanent and although a series of treatments are required like laser, Electrolysis will lead to PERMANENT hair removal without the need for top ups in the future.  Any hairs that may grow in the future will be new and not the ones previously treated.

With Hormonal imbalances and changes you will experience hair growth more commonly on the face/ neck due to the change in testerone and progesterone that takes place in the body.  I always advise against laser hair removal on the face if you're aware of hormonal changes as Paradoxical Hair Growth can occur which means instead of reducing hair growth it can increase hair growth making it thicker.   This is why I try to deter clients with hormonal changes/ imbalances from having laser and encourage electrolysis instead. I actually refuse to treat the face/ neck of clients with hormonal variations with Laser.
